New Boots
These were taken by my lovely co-worker Lisa , this morning on Masonic Street. She didn't even bat a lash when I sheepishly asked her to take a few photos-- what a doll. And she's got a background in film and camera stuff-- I really lucked out in the office mate department, I must say.
As for the boots, I got them a couple weeks ago and have been wearing them non-stop ever since-- they're so comfy and go with almost everything I own. This dress was a custom order my mom had made in the Philippines when she was a teneager. Apparently in the 1960s, it was common for regular middle class folks to get their wardrobes made by the local seamstress. Wish that were the case today! Anyway, It's a tad too short but eventually I'll let them hem down a bit-- for now, while it remains sunny, it feels good to get some sun on these pale legs of mine.
