Lucky Suit

This is my lucky suit that I pretty much always wear when I go to the horse races, which isn't as often as I'd like, so  I decided to wear it to my cousin's graduation yesterday.  It was across the bay in Concord so the weather was a tad warmer which of course I had to take advantage of to go bare-legged  At the rate I'm experiencing bare leg days this year,  I'll have a tan by November.  Something to look forward to.

Say what you will about the lands you have to get to by "bridge and tunnel", but one thing that always strikes me is the abundance of flowers I see whenever I go there.  It must be the warmer weather and lack of fog as opposed to the chill we often get in  City.  Anyway, these geraniums were just an out of control bright red explosion that I could not resist posing next to (plus they matched my lipstick & nail polish)!

  3. I'm so envious of the wall of flowers that's serving as your backdrop! Yes, I definitely see more flowers/nature when out in the suburbs too, sadly it's only just beginning to get green here in Chicago.

Beautiful suit, do you wear a jaunty hat and a horse brooch when you're at the races?
