Girls in CHV

Lovely ladies in dresses Cusard Heart Vintage.  It doesn't get much better than this!  Wearing the "Sweet Spot Dress" is Ashley from of the blog, Fancy Fine who paired it rather perfectly with a pair vintage Ferragamos .  And I didn't think the "Snow Lily Dress" could look any sweeter until I happened upon Kater of All this Happiness looking like a bonafide ice princess.

Do you have a photo of yourself in a dress from the shop?  If so, send it to and receive 10% off your next order!

Leopard, Lime and Polka Dots

coat- vintage |  dress- vintage |  turtleneck- Loehmann's | bag- vintage | shoes- Ferragamo

I've been sort of in a clothing dilemna lately.  Now that I'm into my fourth month of being pregnant, most of my old clothes feel too tight but it's a bit too soon to wear actual maternity stuff.   Luckily I've got a few larger 1960s shifts like this polka dotted one that I've hung onto even though they were always too big (not the case anymore! :) Anyway, it's a good thing I'm also partial to an empire waistline because I see myself many a babydoll dress in the very near future.

P.S.  I borrowed the green purse from the shop.  Its for sale right here.

Over my holidays in Ireland I had enough time to read a few books, one of which was this really great memoir by one of my favorite ladies, Diane Keaton.  Its mainly written as an homage to her mother who died of complications dues to Alzheimer's in the late 1990s.  In the book  she also details her life growning up in Southern California, her early struggles with an eating disorder and touches on her three major love relationships with none other than Woody Allen, Warren Beatty and Al Pacino.  Not too shabby of a list, huh?   Her self-effacing manner and her lack of self confidence is what first endeared me to her and of course her complete originality in the style department.  Not to mention the fact that even though she has to be pushing 70, she still looks like a million dollars.  I totally recommend the book if you're a fan of autobiographies and simple honest writing.
